23′ Pumpout Boats from Marine Boatbuilders Company represent our third-generation mold, engineered from more than 25 years of hands-on experience building pumpout boats, work boats, and patrol boats. Every 23’ Pumpout Boat is purpose-built for safety, simplicity, and long-term durability, with an all-fiberglass, no-wood construction designed to perform day in and day out in demanding marine environments.

Modified V Hull Design for Superior Stability

Our 23′ Pumpout Boats feature a modified V hull with a concave bottom, not convex like most boats. This design delivers exceptional stability, predictable handling, and eliminates yaw in a following sea.

The hull is hand-laid using woven roving and gun roving with 100% “E” fiberglass and thermoset polyester resin. Finished with ISO NPG thermoset gelcoat (approximately 1.5” thick), the hull is built to resist blistering and harsh marine conditions.

All-Fiberglass Stringer System

Our state-of-the-art U-channel fiberglass stringer system provides superior strength and longevity. Like every critical structural component on our 23′ Pumpout Boats, the stringer system contains zero wood, eliminating rot and long-term structural failure.

Deck & Floor Built for Safety and Efficiency

The deck and floor system is fully fiberglass composite—no wood anywhere. The layout is designed to maximize usable workspace while eliminating trip hazards.

Foamed Flotation

Two-part thermoset flotation foam is injected between the hull and floor in fuel tank areas, adding safety and buoyancy without compromising strength.

Premium Gelcoat Finish

Only storm- and blister-resistant gelcoats are used on our 23′ Pumpout Boats. White is standard and included in the base price, with multiple color options available as upgrades.

Fuel System

• 50-gallon below-deck fuel tank

• Fills to 45 gallons to meet 2021 EPA standards

• Designed to prevent overfilling and sender damage

Note: Initial fueling may experience “green tank syndrome.” Slowly filling the tank resolves this and protects the sender unit.

420-Gallon Containment Cell (Standard)

Each 23′ Pumpout Boat includes a built-in 420-gallon fiberglass holding tank, positioned below the waterline for optimal stability.

• Five layers of fiberglass, including four layers of 24-oz cloth

• Four internal baffles for strength and flow control

• Edson 120 ELB-40 diaphragm pump (40 GPM)

• Pump, intake, and discharge piping fully concealed under the center console

Waste Tank Level Indicator

A signature feature of Marine Boatbuilders Pump-Kleen® boats, the waste tank level indicator allows operators to monitor tank capacity in real time.
